Personal Update: Leaving for Another Monastery for a Month of Intensive Meditation – No Gadgets Allowed

Dearest readers,

I’ve spent two amazing weeks at a forest Buddhist monastery, and now I’m ready to do an intensive meditation course at another monastery. I will be meditating for 10 to 12 hours a day for around a month!

Unfortunately (or fortunately!), this monastery doesn’t allow the use of any electrical gadgets, thus my mobile and laptop will soon be locked away.

I’ve scheduled three articles and videos to be published on April 28th, May 5th and 12th. Please check my YouTube channel and blog on those dates if you wish to access the content I’ve created whilst in the forest monastery.

Thanks for reading, and now it’s time for me to retire to bed since I’m exhausted after five hours of bus ride.

Thanks for reading, and have a lovely day (or evening)!

So the fact that this is a vegetarian monastery is good news, because I don’t need to worry whether I take some dish with meat by accident.Read more…

I have arrived at the new country yesterday. I cannot yet tell you which country it is for safety reasons – I don’t know anyone here so for the time being I will keep its name secret.

At the moment I’m writing from a Buddhist monastery. Since I’m new here, they put me in a dormitory so I will be sleeping with eight other women. Hopefully, later I will be transferred to a separate hut, but it’s not the end of the world if I would have to stay here for the rest of my time in this place.Read more…
