Make Sure You Are Grafted In

And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.

Well; because of their unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

Behold therefore the goodness and the severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

— Romans 11:17-22

In this passage Paul explains that the Gentiles were made partakers of the salvation that belongs to the Jews. It’s explained that we should not become boastful about this fact to the Jews as we can be cut off – as the unbelieving Jews were cut off.

If God spared not the natural branches, how much more should we fear that we would not be spared if we become proud about our salvation. We may also be cut off if we misuse the grace of God which He has shown to us, as it’s clear from the last quoted verse, where it says that we will be spared if we continue in His goodness.Read more…

Eastern vs. Western Mindset – What You Need to Know to Understand the Bible Better

I’ve been fortunate to be living in the East for around ten years. I love living here because I see the eastern way of life as much more natural and certainly more stress-free.

So although it can be a hassle to work out the matters to do with visas and flights in order to continually live in the East, the benefits of living here far outweigh these few negative points.

And although some of the greatest advantages of living in the East are a lower cost of living in general, as well as many choices of living affordably in places not infected with urbanization and commercialization, the most important reason which keeps me here is the eastern mindset.Read more…

This Powerful Blessing Can Take You to the Next Level

One of the greatest blessings in the Bible was a father’s blessing. It was very important in Israel as those blessings given in faith by fathers were known to come true. That’s why Esau was so disappointed when his brother Jacob deceived him and stole his father’s blessing from him.

But even if you cannot receive your own father’s blessing for some reason, keep reading and you will find out how to receive one nevertheless.

Blessings are powerful

God blessed Adam and Eve when He created them. In the blessing He told to be fruitful, to multiply, to replenish and subdue the earth, and this is what the humanity has been doing since the creation. And although our earthly fathers are not gods, it’s told in Proverbs 18:21 that the tongue has the power of life and death, and it is by the Word that God created everything.Read more…

Is Lunar Sabbath Correct?

When I realized that the biblical Sabbath was not done away with, the next question that was important to address was what day Christians should celebrate it.

There is a relatively new movement which claims that we should observe a lunar Sabbath as they say that’s according to the YHWH’s calendar. But is that really true? This post will address what I’ve found out about this issue.

I celebrated the lunar Sabbath once, so I was not for or against it, I was just searching for the truth. And that’s the best way to search for it – when you don’t lean towards any of the opinions so that your preferences do not cloud your judgement.Read more…

How to Find Your Place (Office) in Christ

Not all Christians are saved to be preachers of the Word; every single one of us is assigned a specific place in the Body of Christ. Paul told in 1 Corinthians 1:17 that he was sent by Christ not to baptize but the preach the gospel.

This shows that some were specifically sent to baptize, some to preach the gospel, some to water the Word  that was sown in the minds (1 Corinthians 3:6), which, I believe, refers to the occupation of the pastor.

That doesn’t mean we should refrain ourselves from making people aware of Jesus if an opportunity presents itself, but this is not the primary occupation of many born-again Christians, like Paul also baptized a few though he was not sent to baptize.Read more…

What Is the Gospel? It’s Probably Not What You Think

The Gospel

The word “gospel” is mentioned many times before Jesus’ crucifixion. Jesus Himself preached the gospel before His crucifixion (Matthew 4:23, 9:35, 11:5, 24:14, 26:13 and in other New Testament books).

Gospel is the good news of the kingdom of God (Mark 1:14). And that good news is that the kingdom of God is near. This is the actual gospel – that the kingdom of God is near. The gospel is not that Jesus died for our sins and rose again, but that soon God will come down from heaven to rule the earth.Read more…

What is the Kingdom of God?

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand

In this post I will try to explain how I understand what the kingdom of God is, and explain Jesus’ words about the Kingdom of God being in us.

When we look up the Greek word “kingdom”, we find that it usually means “rule” or “dominion”, and not an actual physical kingdom. This is important, and to really understand many verses of the Bible about the kingdom, it’s better to replace that word with the mentioned nouns or the noun “royal power”.Read more…

A Dangerous Teaching in Christianity

One of the most dangerous teachings that I’ve heard in Christian circles is some Christians claiming that saved people cannot have demons.

I call this belief dangerous because of two reasons: it might cause saved people to doubt their salvation and we must keep our faith until our deaths to be given the crown of life (Revelation 2:10).

Another reason why this teaching is dangerous is because this might make people think that they are saved when they are not. If a definite change in kingdoms doesn’t take place, you still belong to Satan.Read more…

Is Jesus (The Most High) God?

This is going to be one of the most important posts so far. Yet those who decided to stick to their beliefs without being willing to examine the Scripture will not be willing to listen. But that’s not my concern anymore, and they will have to answer to God for this.

(In this post I’m going to capitalize only personal pronouns referring to the Most High to avoid any confusion.)

I’m going to prove my stance only by using Scripture, so please read (or listen) to the end so that nobody jumps to wrong conclusions about what I’m going to say in this message. Then please pray to God about this and do your own research as well prayerfully read the Bible for YHWH to reveal you the truth.Read more…
