Ark of the Covenant Was Not Lost but Hidden

For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.

— Luke 8:17

It is believed by some that the Ark of the Covenant is hidden in Ethiopia. It is claimed that King Solomon had an illegitimate son from the queen of Sheba whose name was Menelik. When Menelik visited Solomon, it is claimed that Solomon gave him many gifts and wanted him to stay in Jerusalem, but Menelik wanted to return to his own country.

So King Solomon anointed him to be the king of Ethiopia and renamed him into David, and gave the first-born sons of some of the nobles of Israel to go and reign in Ethiopia with him. One of the first-born sons of the nobles, Azaryas, the son of Zadok the priest, came up with a plan to take the “lady Zion”, the Ark of the Covenant, with them. He asked of all the first-born sons that were to travel to Ethiopia with him to give some money to him so that the carpenter would make wood planks that were to be put in the place of the Ark of the Covenant.

Then with the help of YHWH’s angels the sons of the nobles managed to easily remove the ark. Instead of it the planks were placed in a fashion to resemble the pedestal of the Ark of the Covenant, and those planks were covered with the previous three covers that were on the original ark. Then they took the Ark of the Covenant together with them to Ethiopia, and it never again saw the land of Judah. After some time the High Priest went to uncover the Ark only to find planks in its place. There is a big problem with this story, and that’s to do with its timing. It’s told that the Ark was removed at around 950 B.C. However, Ezekiel, who lived in the 6th century B.C., around four centuries after the alleged removal of the Ark of the Covenant, saw in a vision that the Shekhinah glory would soon depart from the cherub to the threshold of the temple, which is an allusion to the Ark of the Covenant.

Moreover, in 2 Chronicles 35:3 we find it stated that the Ark of the Covenant was still in the Holy of Holies during the 18th year of Josiah’s reign (622 B.C.). So because of these Bible accounts we come to the conclusion that the Ethiopic story is wrong, because the Ark of the Covenant and the Shekhinah, the feminine presence of God, was in the Temple in the 6th century B.C.

Ron Wyatt’s discovery

There is a story of the Ark of the Covenant that is less-known but which completely agrees with the Bible. And more than that – not only it agrees with the Bible, but it makes us understand bible passages related to the Ark of the Covenant and the purpose of Yeshua’s crucifixion in a much deeper way.

And this is the discovery of the Ark of the Covenant by Ron Wyatt. Ron was an amateur archaeologist as well as a true believer who kept the laws of YHWH. He often prayed for YHWH to make him useful to humanity, and his life started changing after he started praying in such a way, as God used him to find many of the historical sites proving that the Scripture is true.

Among his many discoveries, the major ones are:

  • The Red Sea crossing site;
  • Sodom and Gomorrah site;
  • The true Mount Sinai;
  • Noah’s Ark;
  • And the Ark of the Covenant.

It was in the interests of many to silence this man of God, by spreading false accusations against him. Even Israeli archaeological authorities tried to deny to have ever had any dealings with him, though he showed to the public that they issued him a permit to carry out his digging activities.

There was even an archaeologist who reported him as a spy to Arab authorities when he was examining mount Sinai so that he is arrested and maybe killed, and the credit of the discovery of the real mount Sinai goes to him. I’ve heard similar stories of the utter unreliability of the mainstream archaeologists, so I would surely trust someone who is an amateur archaeologist and keeps the laws of YHWH than any of such mainstream archaeologists.

How Ron discovered the Ark of the Covenant

The way that Ron discovered the Ark of the Covenant was this. One day he was walking along Gordon’s Calvary Escarpment in the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem, talking with a local authority about Roman antiquities. Without his awareness, his left hand pointed to a site there and his mouth said “That’s Jeremiah’s Grotto and the Ark of the Covenant is in there”. The man who was walking with him also reacted quite out of character. He got excited in hearing this, and told that all will be arranged for him to start digging there.

However, Ron asked this offer to be delayed for some time, because he was not sure which source this revelation came from. To make sure that this revelation indeed came from YHWH, Ron decided to search the pages of the Bible in order to understand whether that location could indeed be the location of the Ark of the Covenant.

Back in the US, he started studying the Bible in relation to the ark, and got convinced that the Ark of the Covenant could indeed be in that location. Also, the Bible doesn’t indicate that the Ark of the Covenant was taken by Nebuchadnezzar, so it must have been taken underground within the same location. The location of the Ark indicated in the Bible matched the location his hand pointed to – within the Babylonian siege wall that was erected at the time of the ark disappearing, when Jews were taken into captivity.

When Ron and his two sons were back in Israel, they started digging in that area, at the base of a cliff face, known as Golgotha. That’s the area where in 1800’s General Charles Gordon identified the site as matching the biblical description of the Calvary – the site of the Crucifixion of Christ.

In a garden nearby there’s a tomb hewn out of rock, which is identified as a tomb of a rich man donated to Yeshua. Further proof of that is that the tomb had been extended to accommodate a person higher in stature than of the owner of the tomb.

Yeshua's Blood

The first thing that Ron and his sons discovered were shelf-like cut-outs in the cliff which Ron thought to be designed to place signs of the offences for which the crucified people were hanged. His guess turned out to be true later on.

Close to the crucifixion place, the foundation of the building and what seemed to be an altar were uncovered, which was believed to be the building and the altar of the church, further proving that early Christians knew this to be the Yeshua’s crucifixion site.

He then uncovered the four cross-holes that were used for holding crosses of criminals, with one set a bit at the back, on which the greatest criminal was reserved to be hanged.

When he was exploring the cross-hole for the main cross, he had to remove the square stone that was in it, acting as a plug. When he did, he saw a crack in the hole, which looked like an earthquake crack. In Matthew 27:51 it’s told that when Yeshua was crucified, the earth shook and the rocks rent.

He kept digging further in this area and discovered an underground cave. Unfortunately, their savings ran out and Ron and his sons had to leave Israel to raise more money and then come back to continue excavation.

This alone shows that they were not fake – otherwise they would have concocted the story in a single journey without needing to spend more money on a lie. He had no money to hire workers, so his sons were helping him out, and a few other people were helping him too sometimes – I know some of them where those volunteers who believed in his work.

When he saved enough money, he again came back to Israel. It was impressed upon him by Yah that on this trip he would find the Ark of the Covenant.

The cave that he discovered on his previous trip turned out to be an underground cave system and therefore his excavations took a long time. He again ran out of all his savings and had no money even to eat, and owed $300 for his hotel rent.

Also, his son got sick and had to fly home. Then his second son got sick and had to fly home as well – due to the atmosphere of the caves. He was disheartened that all this had happened, but he still believed that he would find the Ark of the Covenant before his flight home.

One short Arab man was helping him out and even allowed him to eat for free in his restaurant. This was humiliating to Ron, but he was determined to find the Ark of the Covenant before his departure. That Arab man was the one who would go down through the narrow holes to explore different caves together with Ron, since because of his size he was able to go through small holes that Ron wasn’t able to go through.

So the Arab man continued exploring different caves in this way with Ron, but when he crawled into one hole, he crawled back from it with a look of terror on his face. Ron asked if he had seen anything, and he said no. Ron recognised the Divine terror on his face, the terror of the supernatural, so he believed that that was exactly the place where the Ark of the Covenant was located, or at least it’s the way to get to it. And he also understood that God did not want that Arab man to find out where the Ark was. The Arab man told that he needed to leave, and he never returned to that cave system again.

So Ron started enlarging the hole so that he could pass through it. And when it was wide enough, he crawled through it, and flashed his light to see what’s in the cave, and a solid golden surface reflected the light back at him. When he finally managed to crawl into the cave, he saw that the reflection of gold that he was seeing was from the Table of Shewbread.

When he continued exploring the chamber with his flashlight, he came across a stone box with a broken lid and some brown substance on top of the crack. After some pondering he realized that what he was witnessing was Christ’s blood on the crack, and he fainted as a result of this discovery, as it was too much for him.

He never heard such a thing preached by anyone, yet the evidence was undeniable – the crack was located right above where the Christ was crucified. The Scriptures say that when Yeshua was Crucified, there was an earthquake and the rocks were rent. He found the rent exactly at the place where Christ’s cross was standing.

And the Bible says that after this, Christ’s side was pierced and blood and water flew from it, thus getting into the crack, running through it and getting through the cracked stone lid of the box which housed the Ark of the Covenant, and thus anointing the Mercy Seat.

After 45 minutes he regained consciousness and tried to remove the ark of the covenant from its place, but got a strong impression that the ark could not be moved until the appointed time. Also, six other people tried to get into that cave after his discovery in order to take the ark to the unoccupied area for its safety, but all were struck dead. The Bishop of the Anglican Church, who was the head of the Garden Tomb, died within a month of telling Ron that he couldn’t excavate there anymore.

The ark has to remain there as a proof that the blood that’s on it is indeed Yeshua’s, and this site will be supernaturally protected until the time when the ark and the tablets of stone will have to be shown to the public.

Ron told that when he descended into the cave the fourth time, to his surprise, the cave was cleared out and everything was beautifully arranged. He told that he saw four angels standing before him and they told him that the public cannot yet see this discovery, but that it would be revealed to them when the Sunday law will be enforced. Then the ark with the ten commandments will be revealed and people will have to choose whom to serve – whether to observe the commandments of YHWH or the laws of men.

Ron took a sample of the blood from the crack for testing in a laboratory in Israel. The results that came back were astonishing – instead of expected 46 chromosomes, the blood contained only 24. It showed that the person to whom belonged this blood had a mother but no human father, because the normal contribution of paternal chromosomes was missing.

Also, the blood became alive when it was put in a growth medium at a human body temperature, which again proves that this wasn’t a normal human blood, which would have died a long time ago.

After these findings, the verses of 1 John 5:8 take on a different meaning:

And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Yeshua confirmed the New Covenant

The water and blood of Christ had to anoint the Mercy Seat for the confirmation of the New Covenant. Moses had to sprinkle water and blood above the law in order to confirm the Old Covenant. And Jesus sprinkled His water and His blood above the law to confirm the New Covenant. This is His physical witness that He indeed died for our sins, and that the New Covenant is valid.

Since there was never anything wrong with the law, it never changed. Now the same law is written on our hearts, and that’s the Renewed Covenant, translated in our bibles as “New Covenant”. People under the Old Covenant failed to obey the law, so a better covenant was promised which made it easier for people to keep the same law. Not only the law was written on our hearts, but also we were given power, the Holy Spirit, to be able to keep it.

It’s told in 1 Timothy 2:5-6:

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

So it’s told here that the fact that Yeshua is a mediator between YHWH and men will be testified at the appropriate time. And it’s very likely that that testimony will be the Ark of the Covenant, with His blood on it, because in my previous quoted verse it’s told that blood, water and Spirit are the three witnesses, and they will all testify to the public that Yeshua indeed died for our sins.

Many Christians these days believe that the law was done away with, but this discovery proves that the law was confirmed at the cross as part of the New Covenant, rather than nullified. Yes, sacrificial laws were done away with because Yeshua became the perfect sacrifice. And those man-made laws, the traditions of men, that were burden for Israelites to keep were also nullified because Christ broke them, yet He rose again, proving them to be nothing but vain imaginations.

But the ten commandments remained valid – just the way that we observe them became easier through the Renewed Covenant since the laws are now written on our hearts.

He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

— Proverbs 28:9

The lie of Satan that the law was done away with is paving the way to lawlessness, and the eventual receiving of the Mark of the Beast. Let’s not be fooled by this false claim of the law being nailed to the cross, but go back to the perfect and just law that was written by the very finger of our Heavenly Father.

Why I believe in Ron Wyatt’s testimony

If you have the Holy Spirit, you can judge whether Ron is a deceiver or a true man of God for yourself. When watching his old videos, it becomes clear that the Holy Spirit was working in his life, transforming him more and more to reflect the image of YHWH. In his earlier videos you can notice traces of pride, but they disappear in his later videos, and this is a definite work of the Holy Spirit.

The people who are devoid of the Holy Spirit tend to harden in their ways when the get older, but quite the opposite is the case with the people who are truly saved. So just by watching his videos you can judge his character. He had the fear of God, and he firmly believed that one must keep the law. This alone shows that he could not have lied about the discovery, since the law says not to be a false witness.

Furthermore, all his savings were going to the excavations. He wasn’t living lavishly, nor possessed what is considered a necessity for some people today, such as a large house. He was truly concerned with saving souls, and there are also those who worked with him who testify of his holy character.

For example, Michael Rood, a well-known teacher of biblical subjects and the man whom I trust, met Ron for the very purpose of finding out whether he’s genuine, and he ended up working with him and becoming a firm believer in his discoveries.

Since the world is ruled by Satan, people as such will never be officially acknowledged till Yeshua comes back. Liars and frauds will be exalted in the field of archaeology for their discoveries which go against the Bible and support the science, whilst those real believers whose findings prove the Scriptures will be falsely accused and their findings will be suppressed or not publicised as it goes against the god of this world whose religion is science.

So all this makes me believe that Ron Wyatt was a true man of God, and that his findings are valid, and that God used this humble man mightily, which is in agreement with the character of YHWH – He uses humble vessels to show His power and might.

    We brothers and sisters in Christ, love you from Denver, CO, Sister Simona.

  2. [During the raid of Yerushalem by the Babylonians]
    “7) And I saw him [an angel] descend into the Holy of Holies, and take from there the veil, and holy ark, and the [lid of atonement], and the two tables, and the holy raiment of the priests, and the altar of incense, and the forty-eight precious stones, wherewith the priest was adorned and all the holy vessels of the tabernacle. 8) And he spoke to the earth with a loud voice:
    “Earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the almighty Aluahyim,
    and receive what I commit to you,
    and guard them until the last times,
    ao that, when you are ordered, you may restore them,
    so that strangers may not get possession of them.
    9) For the time comes when Yerushalem also will be delivered up for a time,
    until it is said, that it is again restored forever.’
    10) And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up.

    • Hi Drew, yes, I read this, but I consider 2 Maccabees more likely (though who knows):

      “Jeremiah came and found a cave-dwelling, and he brought there the tent and the ark and the altar of incense; then he sealed up the entrance. 6 Some of those who followed him came up intending to mark the way, but could not find it. 7 When Jeremiah learned of it, he rebuked them and declared: “The place shall remain unknown until God gathers his people together again and shows his mercy.”

      • From what I understand, Baruch worked alongside Jeremiah. I am not as familiar with 2 Maccabees, but found the passage you cited, and seems legit. However, from my understanding of dreams/visions, they are given to us in one form: a spiritual one; however, they are manifested differently in the physical world, yet still mirroring the spiritual form. This description in 2 Maccabees seems (to me at least) to be the physical action by Jeremiah of Baruch’s spiritual vision, since the two do agree on the things going into the ground, and staying there until YAH’s day. Then in various books (such as 1 Enoch and Shepherd of Hermas) we are told that angelic beings have much to do with direction, action and aid in people’s lives, which would explain the angel doing the work in 2 Baruch, yet in the physical Jeremiah was the righteous man being given the spiritual drive and direction to hide the ark.

        Interesting. Thanks for posting that passage of 2 Maccabees. Definitely filled in gaps to this mystery of the ark for me, which is not one I have ever really looked into, although it’s clearly important, as hollywood/the media seems to like to make a big deal out of the lost ark. It’s crazy how people are taught that the hebrew scriptures are the most false book of all books, and are made to seem the most detestable by all forces possible; yet illuminati, freemasons, etc. are majority only interested in things having to do with the scriptures (the two pillars, tower of babel, ark of the covenant, nimrod, 666/616, etc.)
