First, it’s important to understand that the King James Version (KJV) is not simply a translation but God’s Word itself. In the Bible it’s told that God’s word will be preserved:
In Psalm 12 verses 6-7 it’s said:
The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
Matthew 24:35 also says that…
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
And it was preserved. KJV is based on over 5,000 manuscripts which agree with each other. The translators didn’t use the 5% of available manuscripts that departed from the main doctrine of Christ and were therefore heretical and even widely disagreed between each other!
These 5% of the manuscripts that disagree with the majority and disagree between each other are the very ones that new bible translations are based on, and the ones that Catholics use.
The Precious Word of God
Most Christians today don’t know that the fact that we can read the Word of God is very precious. People who tried to make it available were burnt at the stake by the Roman Catholic Church because the popes never wanted to make the Word of God available to the masses.
Jesus said about the scribes and Pharisees in Matthew 23:13:
But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
How accurate that is of the Roman Catholic Church! I think the descendants of those evil scribes and Pharisees rule the Roman Catholic Church to this very day – because they do know the way to salvation, yet they hide this knowledge from the masses and pervert it.
The Pope was so infuriated by his teachings and his translation of the Bible into English, that 44 years after Wycliffe had died, he ordered the bones to be dug-up, crushed, and scattered in the river!
The KJV had a predecessor which was the New Testament, the five books of Moses as well as Jonah translated into English by William Tyndale who was fluent in eight languages and spoke them as though they were his native tongue.
He was executed by the Roman Catholic Church for publishing the Bible for the masses to read. He was strangled and then burnt at the stake for giving the English people the Bible.
So in 1534 William Tyndale translated the New Testament and some other Bible books into English and after two years he was executed and burnt at the stake by the Roman Catholic Church. His crime – giving people the Word of God in their own language.
Just before he was burnt, he prayed for the King’s eyes to be opened by God, and that’s what happened, because in 1539 King Henry the VIII published The Great Bible and in 1604 King James authorized a translation of the Holy Bible into the English language, what we know today as the KJV.
54 highly learnt men were tasked for this work out of whom 47 eventually participated in the Bible translation, and the Bible was translated for seven years – from 1604 to 1611.
New International Version, in comparison, was initially translated by 15 people, and throughout its years of translation and ever new revisions, they added six more people for editing purposes and then when they were updating it, nine original members weren’t even there but more new translators were added.
So there’s no consistency of translators like it is with the KJV. Also, the NIV team keeps updating the bible to fit the current times and the changing opinions of scholars, so their bible (thus no capitalization) no longer reflects God’s Word but scholars’ opinions about what that is.
What’s even worse, sometimes the NIV doesn’t even indicate if it’s selling the revised version or not – the NIV Bible is sometimes updated without letting people know about the update, and is sold under the same name and identifying edition number. (Unfortunately editors now abuse the KJV in the same way, thus you must do the Bible test to be sure you have the correct KJV version.)
And the changes aren’t insignificant. It’s told in the bible-researcher.com, for example, that 2011 NIV edition neutralized the gender and the Zondervan corporation that has exclusive rights to publish this Bible moved to supress the 1984 NIV text and informed other publishers that they won’t be allowed to use this text from the year 2012! Seriously? They are aggressively pushing the new world order agenda with each new translation!
They themselves made their previous translation invalid, and replaced it with the translation that’s more in tune with modern times. There were also changes reflecting a change of opinions of scholars about certain bible verses. So basically they keep modernizing the bible and update it with their changed opinions of what the text means which makes the NIV the No Information Version, in my opinion:
That is actually so annoying to read – they believed they could just change God’s Word whenever their opinions or times changed. How can anyone use NIV after knowing this? Frighteningly, the NIV is now the best-selling English version of the Bible and out of three new Bibles sold today is an NIV and there are 120 million NIV copies in print. How sad!
The NIV also tries to reduce the divinity of Christ, as seen from, for example, the comparison of Philippians 2 verse 6 of KJV and NIV:
In the King James Bible we read:
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God (…)
In the New International Version we read:
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped (…)
In a huge contrast to NIV, the KJV translators allowed the Holy Spirit, and not the spirit of times or their own changing opinions to guide them. In the KJV preface we read that that the translators considered themselves only poor instruments through which to make God’s word available to the English masses which is in huge contrast to modern translators who allowed their worldly learning and changing opinions to dictate the translation.
KJV translators were much more educated than current Bible translators. Some of them spoke 15 languages. Yet they remained humble and obedient to God and didn’t try to dispute the Word of God like some of the modern translators do, thinking that their own intelligence and learning are greater than God’s, which is foolish to say the least.
Also, KJV translators believed the Bible to be the Word of God which is in huge contrast to modern Bible translators some of whom don’t believe the Genesis account as well as other Bible books.
Dr. Frank Logsdon, the member of the translation committee for the New American Standard Version (NASB), has denounced his work on that bible and urged all Christians to return to the Authorized Version, commonly known as the King James Bible. (3)
Modern Bible Translators Don’t Believe in What They Translate
It’s dangerous to rely on new bible translations such as the NIV when their translators don’t even believe in what’s written there or aren’t even true Christians! For example, Virginia Ramey Mollenkott was on the translation committee of NIV and she’s a lesbian and an advocate for LGBT rights and Christian feminism.
So she’s not a real Christian as she disobeys God as He condemns such things.
This makes the NIV to also stand for, in my opinion, the Not Inspired Version.
Here are some other statements made by modern bible translators:
The Bible is the ‘words of men’ a ‘literary production’.
Ronald Youngblood, NIV Committee.
…I felt bound to abandon the ‘God- dictated-every-word- from-cover-to-cover’ attitude, and won an attitude which commends itself to my intelligence as well as my faith…
The Price of Success, Wheaton: Harold Shaw Pub., 1984, p. 150.- J.B Phillips, Editor of the Phillips Bible.
J. B Phillips also said this:
The new birth is simply a “change of outlook”.
(When God Was Man, p. 28).
Devils aren’t spirit creatures, they are the “storm center of the personality”.
(When God Was Man, p. 19).
The Bible is not particularly inspired by God. “I should like to make it quite clear that I could not possibly hold the extreme `fundamentalist’ position of so-called `verbal inspiration'”
(Ring of Truth, p. 28).
Satan does not have permanent existence. “If our critics mean that we believe in the permanent existence of Satan, the Devil or the powers of evil, they are wrong, for we do not.”
(Ring of Truth, p. 51).
No such thing as miracles. “A `miracle’ is, by definition, something to be wondered at, and in the past, when laws then unknown were being used, it was commonly assumed that divine intervention was the cause of the wonder. … but I think that it is unlikely.”
(Ring of Truth, p. 93).
Acension of Christ is a parable. In other words, it didn’t really occur.
(Ring of Truth, p. 107).
Wow. So this person actually released the Bible and he doesn’t even believe in what it says. He’s so heavily into new age that his beliefs totally reflect it. So it’s likely that he’s heavily influenced by evil spirits at all times, if his invovlement with new age is so heavy. iration'” (Ring of Truth, p. 28)
Every member of the panel was conscious that some of its decisions were in no sense certain.

Making Business out of the Word of God
The NIV brand, and I’m sure other bible perversion brands too, makes big business out of selling this perverted version of the bible and many other bible perversions, such as Bible for Teen Guys and Bible For Girls, and Lifehacks Bible, and Peacemakers New Testament, and on and on it goes – they are simply profiting from the Word of God and they will surely be judged for it.
Biblica owns the NIV copyright of 1973, 1978, 1984, 2011. Biblica is owned by the Zondervan corporation which is owned by Harper Collins that publishes The Satanic Bible, The Joy of Gay Sex as well as similar titles as mentioned in the video above.
Do you see anything wrong with that? Can any true believer out of respect for Christ keep their NIVs in their homes after reading this? I hope not, because if you do, you disrespect Christ. If you were ignorant about it, that’s understandable though for the lack of knowledge God’s people perish, as it’s told in the Bible. But if you continue to own such a bible after this is known, that’s really sad.
Unlike the ever new NIV perversions with each new translation changing the meaning of their bible, the KJV was updated only to modernize the grammar and replace archaic words, because reading the 1611 original might prove too difficult for most, as you can see from this 1611 page:
Witchcraft Influence on Modern Bible Translators
The main manuscripts that new bible translators rely on are mainly the ones changed by Wescott and Hort, the two men who founded several occult societies two of which were The Hermes Club and The Ghostly Guild, and they were involved in necromancy that’s an abomination in the Bible.
They also supported Darwinism and did not believe that the Bible is the Word of God. They also went on to found The Society for Psychical Research, which, according to bibleready.org, started the modern New Age movement. If you read their own words, you’ll understand just how heavily influenced they were by the New Age beliefs.
The book New Age Bible Versions by G. A. Riplinger says that Westcott was identified as a ‘mystic’ and, together with Hort, they are sometimes called ‘Alexandrian mystics’.
In a letter to his wife, Hort notes:
We had a pleasant evening, six of Westcott’s Sixth Form boys dining with us …. Then we worked till near dinner, when we had a very nice little party, the two De Morgans, H. M. Butler, Farrar, Brady and his mother, and H. W. Watson. Mrs. Brady … came in the evening. We tried to turn tables, but the creatures wouldn’t stir. Both the De Morgans were radiant and pleasant.
The phrase “we tried to turn tables” is a direct reference to an occult seance and “the creatures” that “wouldn’t stir” is a clear reference to the spirits that Hort and his guests were invoking to establish communication with.
Westcott and Hort were accomplished practicers of the occult, therefore.
So do you see how this could cause a problem when such people are the ones in charge of Bible manuscripts’ editing? I can’t even call what they did ‘editing’ because they used their own invented method in which they themselves decided what goes into the Bible and what’s left out of it!
New Translations Are Based on Corrupt Manuscripts
Not only modern Bible translators are less educated, don’t believe the word of God and some might have demonic influences dictating their translations, but they also translate the Bible from corrupted manuscripts that Catholics use which invalidates all the new translations!
The two editors favored two manuscripts: Vaticanus which contains both old and new testaments in Greek, and Sinaiticus, which contains also both old and new testaments of the Greek Bible. Sinaiticus is a manuscript that was found in a waste bin of a catholic monastery, so even Catholics deemed it unsuitable for use!
Vaticanus was found in the Vatican library and not much is known about its origins. Both are of the Alexandrian text type.
Quoting from the Preservedword.com:
Bible scholarship of the past 150 years has placed much attention on a very small number of manuscripts. While there are over 5000 known New Testament manuscripts, attention has been placed on less than ten. Of these, Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus have been exalted as the “oldest and best” manuscripts. The oldest claim has been disproved elsewhere. This document will focus on the nature of these two favored manuscripts.
Sinaiticus has been recently made available to all on the internet by the Codex Sinaiticus Project, with the mainstream media and general Christians fawning over this “world’s oldest Bible.” This manuscript, in conjunction with Codex Vaticanus, form the basis for most modern Bible translations. However, these two manuscripts differ substantially from the text of the bulk of the manuscripts. Thus, the public needs to know the truth about these manuscripts.
Contrary to what has been taught in most seminaries, these two manuscripts are worthless, and hopelessly corrupt. Dean John Burgon, a highly respected Bible scholar of the mid to late 1800’s, wrote of these manuscripts, “The impurity of the Texts exhibited by Codices B and Aleph [Vaticanus and Sinaiticus] is not a matter of opinion but a matter of fact.”
These documents are both of dubious origin. It has been speculated by some scholars that one or both were produced by Eusebius of Caesarea on orders of Emperor Constantine2. If this is true, then these manuscripts are linked to Eusibus’s teacher Origen of Alexandria, both known for interpreting Scripture allegorically as opposed to literally. Scholars have designated these manuscripts as Alexandrian, linking them with Alexandria, Egypt, the region responsible for early heresies such as Gnosticism and Arianism. Both are dated in the mid to late fourth century.
Vaticanus is the sole property of the Vatican; it has been a part of the Vatican library since at least 1475. It’s history previous is unknown. It was written by three scribes, and has been corrected by at least two more3. Vaticanus adds to the Old Testament the apocryphal books of Baruch, Wisdom, Ecclesiasticus, Judith, Tobit, and the Epistle of Jeremiah. Dean Burgon describes the poor workmanship of Vaticanus:
Codex B [Vaticanus] comes to us without a history: without recommendation of any kind, except that of its antiquity. It bears traces of careless transcription in every page. The mistakes which the original transcriber made are of perpetual recurrence.
The New Westminster Dictionary of the Bible concurs, “It should be noted, however, that there is no prominent Biblical MS. in which there occur such gross cases of misspelling, faulty grammar, and omission, as in B [Vaticanus].”
Vaticanus omits Mark 16:9-20, yet there is a significant blank space here for these verses.6 Sinaiticus also lacks these verses, but has a blank space for them.7 These two manuscripts are the only Greek manuscripts that omit these verses!
You can read the rest of the article here.
For even better understanding of why these two manuscripts are not the same as over 5,000 of other found manuscripts and should never be consulted, here’s what I have to say. These two texts differ greatly from the 95% of other available manuscripts. Yet they were the choice of Westcott and Hort.
When examining the Gospels as found in Vaticanus, Burgon, who was a Bible scholar, found 7578 deviations from the majority, with 2370 of them being serious.
In the Gospels of Sinaiticus, he found 8972 deviations, with 3392 serious ones. These two manuscripts also greatly disagree between each other, as it’s shown in this table:
So the new bible translations are based on totally corrupted manuscripts and they also must contain changes for them to be able to be used for profit. Because if the editors don’t change the wording, the work won’t be unique enough to sell under the copyright. So the modern bible editors pervert the bible for the sake of profits even further. In Timothy 6 10 we read that the love of money is the root of all evil.
Anyone Can Print KJV – Try Doing This With Modern Versions and You’re Likely to Be Sued
Nobody would sue you for downloading KJV for free, but you might be sued for downloading other bibles for free because they are copyrighted.
The purpose of KJV translators were not to profit from Bible sales but they were on a mission to make God’s word available for public consumption, which was totally against papal orders who wanted to keep the masses in the dark and only spread their false catechisms with fairy tales about mother Mary’s miraculous powers.
And that’s not even Jesus’ mother that we see Catholics bowing to which of itself is idol worship and therefore a great abomination, but Semiramis also known as Ishtar, the queen of heaven, the real goddess that the popes worship from the Babylonian times.
That’s why Mary is more important in Catholic churches than Jesus Himself, and that’s why Jesus is depicted as a weak baby and not as a God-man – because it’s not Jesus that Catholics worship but Tammuz.
He was the illegitimate son of Semiramis that was born after the death of Nimrod, Semiramis’ husband.
Therefore there was a lie spread that the child was the result of an immaculate conception, making Semiramis a mother of God, and therefore a Goddess.
So popes wanted to keep people in darkness and they never wanted the word of God to be translated into the English language because of course people would notice the discrepancy between what the Roman Catholic Church taught in its own created catechisms and what God’s Word said.
Even before the KJV translation Catholics including Jesuits plotted to kill the king but were caught on time and that’s why we have the KJV in our hands today.
The Jesuit order was incorporated into the Roman Catholic Church to kill real Christians and to take everyone into the fold of the false Roman Catholic Church.
But fortunately they didn’t succeed in rooting out all true Christians, and neither did they succeed in putting a stop to the publishing of the real Word of God.
The Roman Catholic Church isn’t against new bible translations, however, because those translations use the corrupted manuscripts that the Roman Catholic Church itself uses!
So without this work of KJV translators all we would get would be pagan popish literature. I’m sure the translators knew very well that they were putting their own lives at risk for pursuing such a work because they knew that Catholics would give them a hard time.
Unsound New Bible Doctrines Lead to Confusion
Because of the almost complete disagreement of modern translations, those who choose to read these perversions pick and choose which bible suits their take on life best. Can you see anything wrong with that? There’s no common standard, there’s just confusion – and the author of confusion is not God but Satan.
By their fruits you shall know them. Modern bibles produce confusion, and I saw with my own eyes that people who read any new translation they choose cannot understand even simple verses.
I literally had people’s jaws drop because of my simple explanations of the meanings behind the verses, and I was newly saved at that time whilst those people were Christians for years. (And I’m not saying I understand all the verses but my understanding is better than of those who rely on perverted translations.)
Those people are incapable of discussing the Bible doctrine because they don’t understand it. Each of their interpretations are different because they all use different bible perversions.
Their bibles don’t speak to them like the KJV does. KJV was written by the Holy Spirit and it’s the Holy Spirit in you that understands the meaning. Yet the perverted versions aren’t written by the Holy Spirit so you’re reading the dead word and though the words are simple, they don’t speak to you – there’s no deeper meaning behind the words.
So the fruits of modern perversions are bad – confusion and spiritual blindness, whereas KJV opens your eyes to understand God and his Son through the printed word.
There’s no depth in those perverted bibles – the depth was taken away, because those Bibles are the works of men and not the Holy Spirit. That’s what happens when translators think they are doing the translation with their own intelligence and can decide how to interpret this or that saying. And that’s totally different to how the KJV translators worked – who tried as much as possible to preserve the original God’s Word rather than interpreting the manuscripts based on their worldly knowledge and opinions.
The Evil Behind Modern Bible Perversions
In perverted translations the deity of Christ is being gradually removed, probably for the coming Antichrist to make it easier to get established. Since then he will pick one of those perversions and show that Jesus wasn’t God and that he is.
So it’s more than likely that there’s a sinister purpose behind those new bibles (and if you would personally ask my opinion I would say there definitely is a sinister purpose), though maybe translators aren’t totally evil themselves but if they’re devoid of the Holy Spirit, Satan can use them for his purposes without them even knowing about it.
Born again people are quickly led by the Holy Spirit to this original version of the Bible. Although I got the perverted NKJV right before I got saved (though at that time I was even planning to buy Quran because I knew that there’s something wrong about Hinduism but God hadn’t yet revealed the truth to me), after a few days of me being saved the Holy Spirit directed me to get the original KJV. At that time I was in Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world! Yet I still managed to find one KJV which I use to this very day.
So KJV is the word of God but other versions are the works of men, because KJV translators were only tools of God whilst modern translators rely on their own opinions without bothering to consult God. Also, 47 most highly educated scholars who were real Christians did the translation of the KJV, whilst some modern scholars aren’t even real Christians since they don’t believe the Word of God and think that their opinions count more than what’s written in the Bible. Can you see anything wrong with that?
Modern translators, like Satan working through the serpent in the Garden of Eden, approach God’s Word with skepticism and disbelief. Did God really say that? they ask. So if they have this spirit of Antichrist, how can they be allowed to translate the Bible? What kind of spirit then is behind the translation of such a skeptic and unbeliever?
In the Bible we read that there’s nothing good in the heart of a human being and that we are lost, we are corrupted from head to toe without God. For us to rely on our intelligence without the guidance of God can be compared to a blind man who leads others to where he’s headed – to the pit:
No worldly learning will ever equal God’s wisdom, so it’s absolute insanity for those modern Bible translators to think that they know better, being merely creatures created by The One whose words they twist and pervert.
And although KJV translators were men of extremely high learning, it’s not their high intelligence that enabled them to accurately reproduce the word of God in the English language, but their humbleness and obedience. These are the qualities that God looks for in those whom he chooses to use, people like Moses, Abraham, Jacob and David.
God hates the proud and those who rely on their own intelligence and worldly learning and think it not important to consult God when undertaking such a work directly related to Him.
The false evolution theory really changed the minds of many, and it had to, because it came from Satan who beguiled Eve (2 Corinthians 11:3). I believe that she was literally hypnotized by the occult power of Satan like those who start yoga or meditation or get into Hinduism and are hypnotized, like I was before Jesus saved me:
So because people’s minds were changed, they started thinking differently.
Because of the satanic evolution theory, many people believe that people of the past were less intelligent than we are today, which is absolutely false because people remained always the same. Yes, we do have more advanced technology, but it’s not because of the developing intelligence of humans but because of the approaching satanic deception. That ever-improving technology is one of the tools that Satan will use to capture as many souls as possible to drag them to hell.
So to think that the KJV Bible is archaic or that the translators were less intelligent than the modern scholars is totally false. Read the Book of Job, arguably the oldest book of the Bible probably written around 2000 BC, making it around 4,000 years old, and tell me if people at that time were less intelligent than we are, or, in fact, more intelligent.
The Best Time to Translate the Bible Was the Time of the KJV Translation
KJV translators translated the Bible in the most favorable church period as based on the Scripture – the Philadelphian church period. It’s mentioned in the Bible that this church period is the one that keeps God’s word (in Revelation 3 verses 8-10).
Modern versions, however, were written during the Laodiciean period of the church, which is the lukewarm period. So for the lukewarm period we get lukewarm bibles.
In 1611, when the KJV Bible translation was made, there was no lukewarmness, and there was no political correctness, or modern science crowd, or human rights movement, or green movement, or animal rights movement which puts animals on the level of humans since we are told to have evolved from monkeys anyway, or gay community, or feminist movement, or humanist movement, or socialists, or liberals, or religious tolerance, or charismatics, or the infiltration of the occult and the kundalini spirit into the churches like it is today.
The KJV version did not have these satanic influences like the modern versions do.
The Accuracy of the KJV
KJV translators believed in the infallibility of the word of God and approached it with reverence and not skepticism like modern translators do. In the KJV preface we read this purpose of theirs, as well as their expectation of popish persons speaking badly and telling lies about them after the translation because of bringing the light to the masses and therefore popes being not able to profit from those who are saved.
KJV translators also told in the preface of the authorized Bible version that those following their own human philosophies wouldn’t like this work, but that the conscience of translators is good and that they rest secure because they adhered to the truth, simplicity and innocence, which is in huge contrast to those modern Bible scholars who think that they know more than God.
KJV translators tried to be so accurate in their translation that they even italicized the words that they added to better explain what it was meant in the original language. No other versions bother to be so accurate, but what difference would that make since their translations are based on the corrupted manuscripts anyway.
KJV translators were led by the Holy Spirit and not their own human learning because even the words that they added to the Bible later on proved to be the word of God and some of the added words made the scripture more informative so that no misunderstandings occur.
For example, they chose to add a whole phrase in italics that wasn’t there before in 1 John 2 23. Later on, however, old manuscripts were found proving that their choice was correct! How could they have known what to add, were they not led by the Holy Spirit!
Or, for example, if you take 2 Samuel 21 19, they added ‘the brother of’ phrase, without which one might mistakenly interpret Goliath being slain and not his brother, which would contradict 1 Chronicles 20 5. NWT (New World Order Translation?) totally misses this important point, for example.
Here’s another example. In Psalm 16 8 the translators decided to add the word ‘he’ which totally changed the meaning of the verse. Yet that was the correct decision because Peter quoted that psalm in Acts 2 25, which again proves that the translators made the Word of God more understandable to the English masses.
How many modern translators would get into such subtleties today in order to produce the most accurate translation possible?
So the added italics to the KJV prove this translation to be as objective as is probably humanly possible. They tried to translate the Bible with as little human input as possible, and where the input was required, it was italicized to distinguish it from the Word of God. Do you not yet feel the gratitude that is due to these God-ordained translators? Such a way of translating God’s word also makes them the most honest Bible translators that one can find.
Satan Doesn’t Attack His Own Kingdom
The reason there’s a heavy opposition to the KJV and not to other bible translations is because Satan doesn’t attack his own kingdom as we read in Matthew 12 26. He attacks the Word of God, and that’s why other perverted translations aren’t under the attack but the KJV is.
KJV is the standard that all the other modern bibles use for comparison, which makes me wonder why then those new bibles were produced in the first place. Also, there’s so much opposition to the KJV but all this opposition never proves anything.
Those opposing it cannot yet find even one error with the KJV, so if in 400 years they aren’t able to find any errors, I think they should acknowledge that it is the Word of God.
KJV New Testament is based on Textus Receptus (the received text). From this text the Bible can be traced clear back to Antioch, Syria, where the disciples were first called Christians and where Paul and Barnabas taught the Word of God for a whole year.
This is the text on which ancient bibles were based and it agrees with 95% of bible manuscripts in Greek. It is believed because of the supporting evidence of the text being used in early church and its lectionaries that this text existed right from the time of Christ.
The Old Testament of KJV is translated from Hebrew Masoretic Text and you can read in this article to find out why this text is superior to the manuscripts that Roman Catholics use.
Modern bibles don’t use the same manuscripts as the KJV Bible, as I told already. They use the texts that make up the minority – around 5% of found manuscripts in the sense that they are the ones that aren’t identical to the majority of 5,000 plus texts and greatly differ between each other.
In fact, modern bible translations rely on around five of those heretical texts, and ignore the 5,000 plus manuscripts that agree with each other. Do you see any problem with that?
Quoting Pastor Tobin Pederson:
So here is the dilemma when it comes to the “witness” of the Greek manuscripts. Do we listen to the 5000+ witnesses, or do we listen to the 5? Which group do you think would be more trustworthy? At this point we have entered the realm of “textual criticism”.
A textual critic is one who picks and chooses what part of whose story they will believe to be true. They make themselves the judge. For example, the witness “Codex Vatican B” (one of the five), a Greek manuscript of the New Testament, testifies that the last 12 verses of Mark do not exist. In other words, the manuscript “Codex Vatican B” does not contain Mark 16:9-20.
Now take your Bibles and look at Mark 16:9-20. If you have a King James Bible you see it is about the resurrected Christ,….quite an important part of Scripture. The King James men used the Majority text (5000+) and simply translated it as is. But if you have a NIV Bible, between verses 8 and 9 there is a line and a large space along with this caption in brackets: [The earliest manuscripts and some other ancient witnesses do not have Mark 16:9-20]
After this bracket in the NIV they then list verses 9-20 (Zondervan Publishing House, Grand Rapids Michigan, Copyright 1986, 1992, pg 1104). For the reader of the NIV this note in brackets must at least cause doubt to enter one’s mind as to the authenticity of these verses. They might argue, “My Bible says the “earliest” manuscripts do not have this verse!”
But does this reader know of the thousands of other manuscripts which do contain this verse? The one who writes “the earliest manuscripts…..” is the man we call a textual critic. He picks and chooses what belongs in the Bible and what doesn’t, based upon his education, beliefs, and ideals. His method of picking and choosing which verses belong and which verses don’t, is called the eclectic method. The Westcott-Hort text is an eclectic text. They are the judges as to what belongs in the Bible and what does not.
Continuing to quote the same pastor:
Westcott and Hort were the original textual critics of their day. Though they no longer live, their legacy lives on in the form of a corrupted Greek text. The influence of their methods blackens and corrupts every modern translation of the Bible available (NIV, NASB, NKJV, NRSV, NAB, REB, RSV, CEV, TEV, GNB, LIVING, PHILLIPS, NEW JERUSALEM, NEW CENTURY, and the New Word Translation).
Readers of these new Bibles are quite unaware that they are reading the translation of a corrupt text. Without thinking or looking deeper into the matter, they blindly assume that every Bible is the same. They assume some are just more easy to read than others. But we must remember that Bibles are translated by men, and thus corruption is possible. Westcott and Hort did what was unthinkable…..they picked through five Greek texts which did not agree with each other, and came up with a new revised Greek version of the Bible.
All modern Bibles of the day have therefore not been translated from the 5000+ Majority text, but from the 5 disagreeing witnesses. Which Bible do you think is more reliable? Isn’t it better to trust that God preserved His Word in the 5000+ witnesses rather than the five witnesses who do not agree with each other? The KJV is a straight translation from the Majority text. The NIV (and others) is taken from the five Minority texts, which do not agree. We don’t even know what part of which text they used and where! The consensus however is they favored the Aleph and B text more than the others.
It is generally believed that these [two corrupted manuscripts] were from the 50 that Eusebius prepared for Constantine. In 1853 these two Cambridge professors, Westcott and Hort, began to prepare a Greek Text based primarily on the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus manuscripts.
They passed by the Traditional Text (Textus Receptus) which was the text upon which the King James Version is based. Instead they used the corrupted manuscripts of the Gnosticism-Origen-EusebiusJerome-Augustine lineage.” (Joseph Van Beek‘s tract: KJV vs NIV, pgs 5 & 6)
As to the personal beliefs of Westcot and Hort:
1) They never claimed or testified that the Bible was verbally inspired or inerrant.
2) They denied the Genesis account of creation and questioned whether Eden ever existed……Instead they praised Darwin’s 1859 theory of evolution.
3) Hort wrote, “The popular doctrine of substitution is an immoral and material counterfeit. Certainly nothing could be more unscriptural than the modern limiting of Christ’s bearing our sins and sufferings to his death; but indeed that is only one aspect of an almost universal heresy.”
4) Hort wrote, “I have been persuaded for many years that Mary-worship and Jesus worship have very much in common in their causes and their results.”
Westcott found a statue of Mary and a crucified Christ in a remote chapel and wrote, “Had I been alone, I could have knelt there for hours.” Please note that neither Westcott nor Hort believed that the Bible was God’s Word. Hort did not believe in the complete blood atonement of Christ for the forgiveness of sins, calling such doctrine “heresy”.
Both found nothing wrong with the worship of Mary. The following are quotes of Westcott and Hort, found in Riplinger’s book.
Westcott – “I reject the word infallibility of Holy Scriptures overwhelmingly.” Riplinger, pg 622 Hort –
“Evangelicals seem to me perverted. . . There are, I fear, still more serious differences between us on the subject of authority, especially the authority of the Bible.” Riplinger, pg 621 Hort –
“[T]his may be cowardice – I have sort of a craving that our text should be cast upon the world before we deal with matters likely to brand us with suspicion. I mean, a text issued by men who are already known for what will undoubtedly be treated as dangerous heresy will have great difficulty in finding its way to regions which it might otherwise hope to reach and whence it would not be easily banished by subsequent alarms. (Hort’s letter to Westcott regarding their writing other things.)”
Riplinger, pg 623 Westcott – “I shall aim at what is transcendental in many peoples eyes. . . I suppose I am a communist by nature.”
Riplinger, pg 624 Westcott – “our Bible as well as our Faith is a mere compromise.”
Riplinger links the spiritualist teachings of Westcott and Hort to the occult teachings of Madame Helena P. Blavatsky who wrote the Lucifer magazine. Westcott, Hort, and Blavatsky are all forerunners of the modern day New Age movement which aims at one world religion.

“Errors” in the King James Bible
Text taken from www.wicwiki.org.uk/mediawiki/index.php/Errors_in_the_King_James_Bible:
Critics of the KJV have a nasty habit of pointing out what they believe to be errors, contradictions, and mistranslations in the Authorized Version. The sad fact is that they usually point these things out to young men and women in Christian colleges who do not know any better. Many young Christians, including young preachers, are having their faith in God’s word destroyed by the very people they look to for spiritual guidance!
These so-called “errors” that are presented by such infidels have been explained and written about so many times that it’s a shame to even have to mention it again. There isn’t enough space in a booklet of this size to embark upon a lengthy rebuttle of such claims. Besides, it has already been done quite well by others. Nevertheless, for the sake of showing the reader the nature of the so-called “errors” in the AV, we will take the time to briefly deal with just a few:
1. According to the critics, the word “Easter” in Acts 12:4 is a mistranslation, because the Greek word is”pascha,” and it is translated “passover” twenty-eight times in the New Testament, and it should be translated likewise in Acts 12:4.
This is what happens when a man is so hung up on “the Greek” that he can’t read plain English. It should NOT be translated “passover” because the Passover had already passed. The “days of unleavened bread” had already begun (vs. 3), which means the Passover was over (Num. 28:16-18; Exo. 12:13-18). The Passover was always the fourteenth day of the first month, while the days of unleavened bread ran from the fifteenth through the twenty-first.
Herod could not have been waiting for the Passover. Besides, why would a Gentile king like Herod be concerned about a Jewish feast day? “Easter” is from the pagan “Ishtar”, the goddess that the pagans worshipped–Rome included. Herod wanted to wait until his pagan holiday was over before bringing Peter out to the people.
2. I John 5:7 is also the subject of much debate. It is argued that the verse lacks manuscript evidence and does not belong in the Bible. Being one of the greatest verses in the Bible on the Trinity, we should be suspicious of any oppositions to it.
The verse should NOT be omitted from the Bible. It is found in Greek manuscript 61, which probably forced Erasmus to include it in his third edition Greek text of 1522.
I John 5:7 is also found in Codex Ravianus, and in the margins of 88 and 629. It is also found in Old Latin manuscripts r and Speculum. It was quoted by Cyprian around A.D. 250, and two Spanish Bishops quoted it in the fourth century (Priscillkian and Idacius Clarus). Several African writers quote it in the fifth century, and Cassiodorus quotes it in the sixth century in Italy.
The fact that Siniaticus and Vaticanus do not include the verse means nothing to a true Bible believer. After all, Vaticanus omits the entire book of Revelation, while keeping the Apocrypha!
3. Many argue that the KJV is in error with it’s use of the word “devils” instead of “demons”. Again, this is due to an over emphasis on “the Greek” as well as a lack of faith in God’s ability to preserve His words in English. While protesting that “daimon” should be translated “demon”, many have overlooked a great truth which the Holy Spirit has preserved in the King’s English. There is one true “Son of God”, but many “sons of God”. There is one true “Church”, the Bride of Christ, but many local “churches”. Likewise, there is one “Devil”, but many “devils” under his control.
The word “demon” itself does not necessarily imply an evil spirit. Even Webster’s 1828 dictionary states that “the ancients believed that there were good and evil demons…”, and New Agers of today believe likewise. Therefore, God led the KJV translators to translate “devils” instead of “demons” because every “daimon” in the Bible IS an evil spirit. The word “devil” makes that clear. Every “devil” in the Bible is under the authority of their father “the Devil”.
4. Then we have “contradictions” like Exodus 24:10 and John 1:18. Exodus says the Israelites SAW God, while Jesus said in John that “no man hath seen God at any time”. Contradiction, right? No, it’s only a matter of rightly dividing the word of truth (which you may not be practicing if II Tim. 2:15 has been altered in your “bible”). God is a Trinity, just like you and I. We’re a body, a soul, and a spirit (I Ths. 5:23). The Israelites saw a physical manifestation of God, but not the SOUL of God, just as no one has ever seen your soul.
5. Numbers 25:9 says that 24,000 people died in a plague, but I Corinthians 10:8 says that only 23,000 died. Read I Corinthians 10:8 again and notice that 23,000 fell “in one day”. The 24,000 died altogether in a few days.
You see, these are the kind of “errors” in the King James Bible. These are the reasons given for you to throw away your Bible and buy a new one. Don’t fall for it. I have learned to always give God the benefit of a doubt, and to count the critics guilty until proven innocent.
Sinaiticus and Vaticanus Aren’t Oldest Manuscripts, and They Aren’t Reliable
Taken from the above quoted website:
When someone says that B and Aleph are the oldest available manuscripts, they are lying. There are many Syriac and Latin translations from as far back as the SECOND CENTURY that agree with the King James readings. For instance, the Pashitta (145 A.D.), and the Old Syriac (400 A.D.) both contain strong support for the King James readings.
There are about fifty extant copies of the Old Latin from about 157 A.D., which is over two hundred years before Jerome was conveniently chosen by Rome to “revise” it. Then Ulfilas produced a Gothic version for Europe in A.D. 330. The Armenian Bible, which agrees with the King James, has over 1,200 extant copies and was translated by Mesrob around the year 400. Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are clearly NOT the oldest and best manuscripts.
These corrupted manuscripts that the new bibles are based on come from Alexandria, Egypt, and from Rome. Egypt is only mentioned in the Bible in a negative sense. God called his people out of Egypt. God called his son out of Egypt. It’s said in the Bible that every shepherd is an abomination onto the Egyptians and the Lord Jesus is a shepherd.
In Acts 6 9 we find this verse:
Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.
Do you see any problem with modern bibles being based on manuscripts found in Alexandria? They were preaching other gospels of Christ there.
In Galatians 1 8 we read that:
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Then there’s the Roman Text, also called Western Text. We can also do without the Roman bible because it was the Roman soldiers that crucified our Christ. Some believe that the harlot of the revelation is the description of the Roman Catholic Church which it probably is.
Roman Catholic Church persecuted and killed Christians. Romans persecuted Jews in acts 18:2 and Romans persecuted Christians in 70 AD. Romans destroyed Jerusalem.
Rome is the dreadful and terrible beast of Daniel 7, as some interpret, and some interpret that Christ will destroy the revised Roman empire at the second coming (Daniel 2 7 and Revelation 13). It has been estimated that Rome is guilty of the blood of some two hundred million people who have rejected their corrupt pagan system. So Roman manuscript is something we can do without.
The Manuscripts From Antioch
There is only one line of manuscripts that we can trust, and that’s the one form Antioch, called the Syrian or Byzantine type text. The word of God speaks positively of Antioch, and negatively of Rome and Egypt.
The manuscripts from Antioch were mostly copied by Bible believing Christians for the purpose of winning souls and spreading the word of God. The manuscripts from Alexandria were produced by infidels such as Origen Adamantius and Clement of Alexandria. These manuscripts are corrupted with Greek philosophy (Col. 2:8), and allegorical foolishness (not believing God’s word literally).
Some Important Changes (out of Thousands) That Perverted Bible Translations Have
Taken from this source – I’ve also added my own comments.
Psalm 12:6-7 – About the preservation of God’s Word
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
The above promise from the King James Bible tells us that God intends to preserve His WORDS forever. Notice how the new versions destroy this promise by making you think the context is God’s PEOPLE rather than His WORDS:
NIV……. you will keep us safe
NASB… Thou wilt preserve him
NRSV… You, O Lord, will protect us
REB…… you are our protector
LB……… you will forever preserve your own
NAB…… You, O Lord, will keep us
Isaiah 7:14 – Corrupting Mary’s virginity
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Notice how some new versions attack the Virgin Birth of Christ by robbing Mary of her virginity. As anyone well knows, a young woman or a maiden is NOT necessarily a virgin:
NRSV… young woman
REB…… young woman
Luke 2:33 – Perverts virgin birth
And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.
Here the new versions attack the Virgin Birth by telling us that Joseph was Christ’s father:
NIV……. The child’s father
NASB… His father
NRSV… the child’s father
REB…… The child’s father
NWT….. its father
NAB…… the child’s father
I Timothy 3:16 – Denies Jesus as God manifest in Flesh
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Notice how the King James is very clear in telling us WHO was manifest in the flesh: GOD was manifest in the flesh. Now watch the new perversions throw God clear out of the verse:
NIV……. He appeared in a body
NASB… He who was revealed in the flesh
NRSV… He was revealed in flesh
REB…… He was manifested in the flesh
LB……… who came to earth as a man
NWT….. He was made manifest in the flesh
NAB…… He was manifested in the flesh
Micah 5:2 – Denies Jesus’ everlasting existence
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
This is a prophecy of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the verse tells us that He had no beginning. As the Second Member of the Trinity, He is ETERNAL, or from everlasting, but not in most modern translations:
NIV……. from ancient times
NRSV… from ancient days
REB….. in ancient times
NWT…. from the days of time indefinite
NAB….. from ancient times (vs. 1)
Many bibles also don’t mention ‘goings forth’ but replace this with ‘origins’ – and that who has origin, has a beginning – so that makes Jesus a creature rather than the Creator.
Isaiah 14:12 – Makes Jesus into the Antichrist!
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Revelation 22:16 tells us that Jesus Christ is the “Morning Star”. The King James Bible never gives this title to anyone else. However, in some new perversions, Jesus Christ and Satan are the same, because some versions have taken the liberty to call Satan the “morning star” in Isaiah 14:12. Although some versions do not go so far as to call Satan the “morning star,” they still throw out the name “Lucifer”.
NIV……. morning star
NASB… star of the morning
NRSV… Day Star
REB…… Bright morning star
NWT….. you shining one
NAB…… morning star
Daniel 3 25 – Denies the divinity of Jesus
He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
This is an excellent Old Testament verse which shows that Jesus Christ existed before He was born in Bethlehem. Naturally, the new versions will pervert it with pagan foolishness:
NIV……. a son of the gods
NASB… a son of the gods
NRSV… a god
REB….. a god
LB…….. a god
NWT…. a son of the gods
NAB….. a son of God (vs. 92)
Colossians 1:14 – Omits Jesus’ blood
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Satan hates the Atoning Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, so we shouldn’t be surprised to find the blood missing in modern translations:
NIV……. redemption, the forgiveness of sins
NASB… redemption, the forgiveness of sins
NRSV… redemption, the forgiveness of sins
REB….. our release is secured and our sins are forgiven
NWT…. we have our release by ransom, the forgiveness of sins
NAB…… redemption, the forgiveness of our sins
Romans 14:10-12 – Reduces Jesus’ divinity
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
If you’ll read the above verses carefully, you will notice how it magnifies Jesus Christ. According to verse 10, we will stand before the Judgment Seat of CHRIST, and verse 12 says that when we do we will give account to GOD. When we stand before Jesus Christ we will be standing before God–an excellent text on the Deity of Christ. Now watch as the new versions throw Jesus Christ clear out of the passage by replacing the word “Christ” in verse 10 with “God:”
NIV……. God’s judgment seat
NASB… Judgment seat of God
NRSV… judgment seat of God
REB…… God’s tribunal
LB……… Judgment Seat of God
NWT….. judgment seat of God
NAB…… judgment seat of God
Acts 8:37 – Removes a water baptism prerequisite
And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
This verse is very important because it places a definite condition upon water baptism: one must first BELIEVE ON CHRIST. Many modern versions throw the entire verse out of the Bible:
NIV……. entire verse missing
NRSV… entire verse missing
REB…… entire verse missing
NWT….. entire verse missing
NAB…… omits entire verse, but re-numbers the verses so you won’t miss it
Do you know why this verse is missing in modern bible translations? Because the editors use Roman Catholic manuscripts and Roman Catholics do baby sprinkling calling it baptism. In Christianity this is not allowed, and this verse supports it.
II Corinthians 2:17 – Bible corrupters remove the word ‘corrupt’ from this verse
For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
You can imagine how this verse must be a thorn in the flesh to the modern translators who are busy CORRUPTING the word of God day and night. So, do they repent of their sins and get right with God? Of course not:
REB…… adulterating the word of God for profit
NAB…… trade on the word of God
Not only they corrupt the word of God, but they sell it too, so they basically include the word peddle and then they sell it.
II Timothy 2:15 – Removes important order to believers so that Christians remain ignorant of the Word of God
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
This is the one command in the New Testament to “study” and “rightly divide” God’s word, and the Devil does NOT appreciate it:
NIV……. Do your best…correctly handles
NASB… Be diligent…handling accurately
NRSV… Do your best…rightly explaining
REB…… Try hard…keep strictly to the true gospel
LB……… Work hard…Know what his word says and means
NWT….. Do your utmost…handling the word of truth aright
NAB…… Try hard…following a straight course inpreaching the truth
NKJV…. Be diligent…rightly dividing
I Timothy 6:20 – Scientific editors hate what the Bible tells about science and thus they conveniently remove the word!
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
Many lies are being propagated today in the name of “science” (evolution for example), but I Timothy 6:20 has been warning us about it all along – except in the new perversions:
The New King James PerVersion – the NOT KJV Version
Taken from this article:
We will now give some special attention to one of the deadliest translations on the market–the New King James Version, first published in 1979. It is a deadly version because it’s editors have succeeded in deceiving the body of Christ on two main points: (1) That it’s a King James Bible (which is a lie), and (2) that it’s based on the Textus Receptus (which is only a partial truth). The following information should be helpful when dealing with Christians who have been swindled by the Laodicean lovers of filthy lucre:
NKJV is another false Bible created under the pretext of changing archaic KJV words. If I can easily read it and English isn’t even my first language then you can read it too. NKJV watered down the deity of Christ and even its logo hides the number 666 so run from this edition as far as you can.
1. The text of the NKJV is copyrighted by Thomas Nelson Publishers, while there is no copyright today on the text of the KJV. If your KJV has maps or notes, then it may have a copyright, but the text itself does not.
2. There’s nothing “new” about the NKJV logo. It is a “666” symbol of the pagan trinity which was used in the ancient Egyptian mysteries. It was also used by satanist Aleister Crowley around the turn of this century. The symbol can be seen on the New King James Bible, on certain rock albums (like Led Zepplin’s), or you can see it on the cover of such New Age books as The Aquarian Conspiracy. (See Riplinger’s tract on the NKJV.)
3. It is estimated that the NKJV makes over 100,000 translation changes, which comes to over eighty changes per page and about three changes per verse! A great number of these changes bring the NKJV in line with the readings of such Alexandrian perversions as the NIV and the RSV. Where changes are not made in the text, subtle footnotes often give credence to the Westcott and Hort Greek Text.
4. While passing off as being true to the Textus Receptus, the NKJV IGNORES the Receptus over 1,200 times.
5. In the NKJV, there are 22 omissions of “hell”, 23 omissions of “blood”, 44 omissions of “repent”, 50 omissions of “heaven”, 51 omissions of “God”, and 66 omissions of “Lord”. The terms “devils”, “damnation”, “JEHOVAH”, and “new testament” are completely omitted.
6. The NKJV demotes the Lord Jesus Christ. In John 1:3, the KJV says that all things were made “by” Jesus Christ, but in the NKJV, all things were just made “through” Him. The word “Servant” replaces “Son” in Acts 3:13 and 3:26. “Servant” replaces “child” in Acts 4:27 and 4:30. The word “Jesus” is omitted from Mark 2:15, Hebrews 4:8, and Acts 7:45.
7. The NKJV confuses people about salvation. In Hebrews 10:14 it replaces “are sanctified” with “are being sanctified”, and it replaces “are saved” with “are being saved” in I Corinthians 1:18 and II Corinthians 2:15. The words “may believe” have been replaced with “may continue to believe” in I John 5:13. The old straight and “narrow” way of Matthew 7:14 has become the “difficult” way in the NKJV.
8. In II Corinthians 10:5 the KJV reads “casting down imaginations”, but the NKJV reads “casting down arguments”. The word “thought”, which occurs later in the verse, matches “imaginations”, not “arguments”. This change weakens the verse.
9. The KJV tells us to reject a “heretick” after the second admonition in Titus 3:10. The NKJV tells us to reject a “divisive man”. How nice! Now the Alexandrians and Ecumenicals have justification for rejecting anyone they wish to label as “divisive men”.
10. According to the NKJV, no one would stoop so low as to “corrupt” God’s word. No, they just “peddle” it (II Cor. 2:17). The reading matches the Alexandrian versions.
11. Since the NKJV has “changed the truth of God into a lie”, it has also changed Romans 1:25 to read “exchanged the truth of God for the lie”. This reading matches the readings of the new perversions, sohow say ye it’s a King James Bible?
12. The NKJV gives us no command to “study” God’s word in II Timothy 2:15.
13. The word “science” is replaced with “knowledge” in I Timothy 6:20, although “science” has occurred in every edition of the KJV since 1611! How say ye it’s a King James Bible?
14. The Jews “require” a sign, according to I Corinthians 1:22 (and according to Jesus Christ – John 4:48), but the NKJV says they only “request” a sign. They didn’t “request” one when signs first appeared in Exodus 4, and there are numerous places throughout the Bible where God gives Israel signs when they haven’t requested anything (Exo. 4, Exo. 31:13, Num. 26:10, I Sam. 2:34, Isa. 7:10-14, Luke 2:12, etc). They “require” a sign, because signs are a part of their national heritage.
15. The King James reading in II Corinthians 5:17 says that if any man is in Christ he is a new “creature”, which matches the words of Christ in Mark 16:15. The cross reference is destroyed in the NKJV, which uses the word “creation.”
16. As a final note, we’d like to point out how the NKJV is very inconsistent in it’s attempt to update the language of the KJV. The preface to the NKJV states that previous “revisions” of the KJV have “sought to keep abreast of changes in English speech”, and also that they too are taking a “further step toward this objective”. However, when taking a closer look at the language of the NKJV, we find that oftentimes they are stepping BACKWARDS! Please note a few examples of how well the NKJV has “kept abreast of the changes in the English language”:
KJV Was Authorized by the King – and That’s Important
The KJV was produced under the authority of King.
In the Bible we read that it’s God who decides who rules nations, as we read in Daniel 2 21:
And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings (…).
Modern bible versions of course weren’t produced under the authority of kings whom God is told to rule.
KJV Exalts Jesus Christ Whilst Other Bible Versions Reduce His Divinity
Finally, KJV is the Bible that most strongly exalts our Lord Jesus Christ which of course we all should do because He saves people and gives us new life on this earth, and also life eternal with God forever.
Jesus Christ Himself said that the Scriptures will testify of Him in John 5 39:
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
…and the real ones do, of course. The Word of God will always exalt Jesus Christ, and it will never attack his deity, because such an attack can only come from Satan, his opponent.
The word of God would never attack His virgin birth, or His blood atonement, or His bodily resurrection, His glorious second coming, or any other doctrine concerning His person. But the new versions attack all these fundamental doctrines!
By perverting many important verses of Scripture which deal with the fundamental doctrines of Christ, new bibles continuously attack the deity of Jesus and weaken the faith of the believers. As I said already, some believe that when the Antichrist comes to rule, he will take one of these watered-down bibles to prove his divinity and to disprove Jesus’ divinity. Which as well might be the truth, seeing where these translations are headed.
New translations also remove many supernatural manifestations to make the Bible modern, applicable to our times, so they twist and pervert God’s word thinking they know better. They may have never experienced any satanic manifestations in their lives so they assume that such things don’t exist – how ignorant they are, thinking they know better than God!
So since the new bibles have a very consistent record of attacking the word of God and the deity of Christ, they cannot be possibly scriptures that would testify for Jesus like it’s said in John 5 39 because they testify against Jesus.
The KJV, however, never attacks Jesus. The KJV exalts Jesus. If there’s no other reason to prefer the KJV, this should be it.
